Our environment

We are committed to playing our part in the effort to reduce carbon emissions by operating our business in a responsible and sustainable manner. In 2008 Carbon Planet conducted a comprehensive audit of our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissons accountable to the Australian operations of e-Volve corporate technology Pty Ltd for the 2007/2008 financial year. e-Volve has since offset the effect of our carbon emissions through the purchase of certified carbon credits. By understanding our impact on the environment in our daily business activities we are empowered to continually work towards reducing our carbon emissions. Our direct shipping model enables us to eliminate the carbon footprint of unnecessary additional transportation links in the IT supply chain. This not only reduces our customer’s environmental impact but it also reduces the cost involved in getting their goods delivered to their door. We are also passionate about ensuring our customers are well educated about getting the most out of their assets lifecycle and have environmentally friendly plans in place for disposing of technology equipment that is no longer required – whether this be recycling, donating, trade-in or buy back of equipment. Our community

We actively engage with the local community to identify well deserving charities that benefit from our support. We aim to brighten the lives of those that are facing a difficult time by backing the worthwhile projects and initiatives that are changing the lives of those less fortunate.

Charities that we continue to support through Charity Auctions and cash donations include Kid’s for Life, The Starlight Foundation and NSW Drought Relief. A percentage of procurement is set aside to donate to not-for-profit organisations.
