NAIDOC Week 2025: Celebrating 50 Years and Honouring the Next Generation
This week marks a powerful milestone—50 years of NAIDOC Week, a time to recognise and celebrate the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
This year’s theme, ‘The Next Generation: Strength, Vision and Legacy’, is a tribute to the young First Nations leaders, change-makers, and community builders shaping the future. It highlights the strength of youth, their vision in continuing cultural practices, and the legacy they’re creating with the guidance of Elders.
At e-volve, we honour this moment by acknowledging the extraordinary contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and the Elders who walk alongside them.
“As we mark 50 years of NAIDOC Week, we’re reminded that cultural strength lies in continuity and that continuity depends on the courage and leadership of First Nations youth,” says David Simpson, CEO of e-volve. “We’re proud to stand in solidarity with communities and continue learning from both Elders and emerging leaders.”
Martina Simpson, Sales Director of e-volve, adds: “This year’s theme is a powerful invitation to support, invest in, and uplift the next generation of First Nations voices. Their strength and creativity will define Australia’s future.”
